People's Choice Award v.3.0

Here is the final tally of votes for the People's Choice Award (Facebook likes + blogger poll):

Total votes:
Facebook likes: 1,085

Blogger poll: 1,441

TOTAL: 2,526

But remember, this poll is just 1/6 of the criteria for the Best Blog Award. The bulk will still come from peer evaluation (1/3) and most importantly, teacher's evaluation (1/2).

Congratulations everyone for a job well done! And do not forget to thank everyone who helped you with all of those votes!

Post No. 6 - Wake me up when it's all over...

It was really overwhelming to read your insights and reflections about the field trip and your experiences inside the classroom for the past months that we’ve been together.

So now, let me hear your final reflections about the 4th quarter CEO and how you were able to go over it.  Here are your guide questions for Post No. 6:
  • What is your fourth quarter final CEO (The Blogging Project)?  Give a brief introduction.
  • How did you prepare for it?
  • Did you encounter any problem/s as you prepare for the said project?  If yes, how did you resolve those problems?  If none, what made it easy for you to prepare for it?
  • Given the chance to do this CEO all over again, would you still do it?  Why or why not?
  • How do you think this CEO can be further improved?
  • Will you change anything regarding how this CEO was handled?  If yes, what would that be?  If none, why not?
  • What is the most important lesson that you learned from this CEO?

Post No. 5 – Open sesame? Wait, wut?

To nuke or not to nuke, I mean, to open or not to open?
This is the ultimate question for your second to the last post.

Read the following scenario and base your post no. 5 on it:
Fast forward. You had just been elected the president of the country. Unfortunately, the entire country is suffering from power crisis since global prices of oil plummeted to a level no one can ever imagine. The only solution that can resolve the power crisis is opening the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) that had been mothballed already for the past 30 years. Knowing that BNPP is just an 8-minute ride from the 7 km-long Morong Beach which is the nesting place of the endangered marine turtles, will you still allow the opening of the BNPP? Justify your answer. Be sure to discuss the pros and cons of opening the BNPP to ALL stakeholders.
